DIY: Anti-Stress Lavender Putty

Do you ever feel so stressed that you just want to punch a wall, rip paper, or squeeze something really hard? All of the tension building up in your body needs a quick release and slamming the door didn’t quite cut it. Well, rather than looking for objects to damage or pillows to beat, this anti-stress lavender putty eases your tension with it’s great scent and squeeze-worthy texture. Play with this putty for a few minutes and I guarantee that you will be thinking about lavender meadows rather than that bad grade and your breath will slow down rather than mimic that of a freight train engine malfunction. Gather the ingredients listed below to whip up a batch of this life-saving dough and share some with your friends. Store in a zip-lock bag to keep on hand when you feel the stress start to build and stop the pressure right in its tracks.

Ingredients:

1 cup of Flour

1.5 cups of boiling Water

2 tablespoons of Olive oil

A few drops of Essential oils

3 tablespoons of Tartar

Glitter

Food coloring

1 cup of Salt

Materials:

Bowl

Spoon

 

***Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl, mix, and let sit until cool. Follow the pictures for more instruction!
